The CRNA Program Faculty, in conjunction with the Medical Simulation Center at WellSpan Health, have received notice that their research abstract, #290, entitled, Physiologic Stress Levels during Simulated and Actual Anesthesia Administration by Student Nurse Anesthetists, has been chosen as the overall winning abstract submitted for the 11th Annual International Medical Simulation in Healthcare Conference. The study also placed first in the “Human Factors” category.
The research team included Dr. Haas, Professors Lowe and Burtnett from the CRNA Program, Dr. Duane Patterson from the WellSpan Health Medical Simulation Center, Dr. Urs Nater, University of Zurich and Dr. Douglas Arbittier, Chairman, Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, York Hospital.
